Guitarist, singer, songwriter Patrick Durr has been playing music in the Central Valley and Bay Area of California for more than sixty-five years, as a soloist, a member of the Ratz and other popular bands, and as a founding member of the Modesto-based Home Grown trio, who celebrated their fifty-three years with a Farewell Concert in March of 2026.

Patrick's songwriting is difficult to describe in a single term. He is fascinated by all musical genres and enjoys harmony in flowing melodies, interesting chord progressions, light accompaniment, and universal themes of life.
